It is time for the ice cream fact of the week!
Did you know, ice cream cones were invented during 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, when large demand forced ice cream vendor to find help from a nearby waffle vendor. Together they made history!
Before that, ice cream was usually served in glass or metal containers. There are records of people using edible dishes before 1904, but none of them caught on, or “went viral.” It took a few years for someone to submit a patent for a machine to make ice cream cones, but that’s another story!
