Happy National Puzzle Day! Puzzles can be a fun, cooperative thing to do for a group of people! And it does not matter if some people are better at it than others, everyone can contribute! Give it a try!

January 31st is National Hot Chocolate Day! Very good for a cold day, and it’s going to be cold here in Houston. Whether you use the instant stuff, or go all out with milk and cocoa powder, make sure you add something to make it special. Marshmallows, a peppermint stick, whipped cream with chocolate shavings, the sky is the limit!

Finally, February 1st is National Baked Alaska Day! That’s one of those things I’ve thought about making at home, but have never done it. Maybe this year! What about you, have you ever made a Baked Alaska? Let us know!
