Happy National Pumpkin Day! Make some pumpkin bread! Carve a jack ‘o lantern! Throw wet pumpkin seeds all over your kitchen! Or not.

Today is also National Mincemeat Day! I really like mincemeat, and try to make a mincemeat pie some time over the holidays. In the past mincemeat was literally minced meat, with various spices and other things. These days, it is usually various fruits mixed together with other things, often with some kind of alcohol as a preservative.

October 28th is National Chocolate Day! We here at Moooseum Ice Cream are big chocolate fans! For the extreme chocoholic, how about a Moooseum Ice Cream Brownie Sundae, made with chocolate ice cream, a warm brownie, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry on top? Yum!
