Hello! We hope everyone is having a great Monday! Everyone get ready, because July 30th is National Chili Dog Day! Mmm, chili dogs. Of course, they are best when paired with a Moooseum Slushie, maybe Watermelon would be a nice pairing!

We are almost in August, which means we’re anticipating August 1st, National Sandcastle Day! Does Galveston still do a sandcastle competition, between various architectural firms? Yes, it does! This year it’s held on September 19th and 20th, and it’s billed as largest amateur sandcastle competitions in the world! Could be fun!

Finally, August 2nd is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day! We made a bunch of ice cream sandwiches for an event celebrating the World Cup this year. The sandwiches turned out well, but they took a lot of time and effort. That’s not something we are going to do routinely, but they may make a reappearance in the future.
